I think what makes zines special is when they put on the page something that so often goes unacknowledged, the kind of thing that makes you wonder if you're alone in your experiences. Noises That Upset Me is special because while you can find plenty of people describing these noises as "annoying", Tory totally captures the particular Feelings from noise sensitivity shared by many of us disabled and/or neurodivergent folx. Something about the art totally hits it in the right way--it's anxiety expressed in lineart.
